The Metropolitan Opera provides no financial support to any of its 39 audition districts continent-wide. All funds must be raised by the district itself. Include the Mexico District of the Metropolitan Opera National Council in your estate plan and you will help to ensure that these auditions will continue in perpetuity. Generations of hugely talented young Mexican singers will have the opportunity to fulfill their talent on an international stage where they deserve to be, and they will always be grateful to you!

Consider a bequest in your will or trust, naming the MONC Mexico District as a beneficiary of your life insurance, IRA or retirement plan, or establishing a charitable gift annuity.

Conversations are underway between the San Miguel MetOpera Trust and the development staff of the Metropolitan Opera toward the establishment of an endowed fund, restricted to the support of the MONC Mexico District, within the endowment of the MetOpera National Council.
